ABOUT GVA SOCCER
get to know us
GVA Soccer is a private soccer training company that focuses on player development on and off the field. At GVA we offer specialized training for players to improve in those specific areas of the game we believe need improvement to make them better soccer players. We discover these areas through an evaluation session, communication between the coaches at GVA and the players club coaches.
We are known for taking care of players on and off the field, physically and mentally. We believe that for our athletes mental/emotional health is just as important as their physical health. Many people tend to overlook this and at GVA it is a priority.
We work to make an impact not only on the players soccer ability but their life as well.
Why we do it
We coach because we want players, specifically female athletes to have someone to understand them and teach them. We grew up in an environment where male coaches were all we came across and while yes, they were good, there is just a different connection when it is female to female athlete. We coach because we would like to become a voice of wisdom that we wish we had. We want this generation to be better than ours. We want to help athletes not make the same mistakes we made on and off the field. We coach because we love soccer and it’s our way to give back to the thing that has given us the most.
